I haven't photographed this family in a few years and was so excited to see them! I love seeing friends and clients so much and I miss them when I don't get to do their family photos for one. Missi and I are always talking about family photos when I see her since life just doesn't always work out and with her husband DJ working out of town it was hard to schedule them. But DJ was home this past weekend and I scheduled them in. 

Usually she wants snow photos. Yes, when it's really cold outside so her booking a fall session was a change! 

Daniel, Missi's youngest son, always has the best smile and can put it on in a minute. And he has always been like that. You know when your kid goes through that weird stage of when they "smile" it ends up being a very odd combination of squinty eyes and really aggressive smile? My kid did. But Daniel has always had a great smile! 

Coby . . . Well he isn't my biggest fan and that's okay. He has never been that excited for photos and that hasn't faded over the years but he pushed through the session trying really hard not to smile. I was happy Sage got to be in this year's since she moved back to Salmon! Such a great a little family session. 

I loved the colors Missi chose too! They looked so nice with the fall colors and really popped at the location. Missi did have to sport a boot on her foot since she broke her foot. You'll have to ask her for that story . . . .
