Katie is stealing the kids' last name. I know - FINALLY. The busy two are trying to plan a fall wedding while, well life - school, kids, work - ya know everything. 

I was so stoked that Katie wore a dress to her session. During her maternity sessions years ago I suggested a dress and she was very reluctant but rocked one with cowboy boots. Today she also rocked cowboy boots and a super cute floral dress and looked so beautiful. 

Of course their daughter Cadence looked cute in her dress and boots too, and the boys looked equally handsome in jeans and plaid. 

It started out as a beautiful spring day but of course, like any well-planned session, it started raining pretty much just five minutes before session start. But knowing the two had busy schedules and have the kids with them, I wanted to attempt to get some real quick. I like to at least attempt, unless it is downpouring or hailing. We got a few in the wind and the boys were troopers. We opted to try a second location. Because you know just try to get ahead of the rain cloud. 

The rain was still coming down at the second location but Bo and Katie roughed in an attempt to get some photos she can use for their wedding invitations. It was rainy and windy but really love the motion in these. I will save the photos with everyone for Katie and Bo to share first!
