The best part about being home based is being available for visiting families.

Gloria contacted me for a special family session for her and her husband, Phil and their adult children and their families. Their son was visiting so it was the perfect time to get some updated photos with the grandkids and their son and daughter, Tassi. 

I went to their home off of Aldous Drive here in Salmon. We were lucky that our spring session gave us a little sun and not so much wind the day prior. We had to reschedule since it was just a little cold. 

Their home is so beautifully nestled up on a hill. It was really great to go to their home and take these photos. We took photo in front of their barn, with their older horse and their old blue truck. 

The blue truck was one thing Gloria wanted and told me so when I arrived. When we started using it, it was clear - this truck was really special to Phil and Gloria. Gloria said they got married and shortly after bought this truck. They will be married 50 years this July. And really the entire family, lots of truck rides and hauling straw - memories were created for the Winters family with that old blue truck. 

Phil and Gloria really love one another and are so loved by their own children and families, it was so apparent. I really loved creating these special couple photos with them. It is so amazing that they have been married for almost 50 years. They have clearly built a life they want and cherish with each other. It really is an amazing feeling to create art from love like this.
