It's been way too long since I have seen the Koester family! 

I have known Robby and Lisa for years. It's been years since I have seen them. Now Robby and Lisa live in the Boise area raising their daughters Reigh and Leah. Both of their families live in the Salmon area so they are coming "home" often. 

I haven't seen or taken their photo in years. We try and schedule when they come to town but it just never seems to work out for our schedules. But this year it did and it did not disappoint.

Lisa booked some "last minute" family photos during their trip to Salmon and had a very specific spot she wanted to do them at - the cliffs. She said she has waited for FOUR years for this spot. We planned for a sunset session and hoped for the best weather. It was so windy the day of the session, we were concerned. Luckily we held out and by the time met up there there was little wind and a beautiful sky. 

We couldn't have asked for a better night on the cliffs. I was so happy everything aligned perfectly for them and the location worked and there as little to no wind. When clients share they have vision I want to do my very must to fulfill that. 

I have done so many sessions at the cliffs, it is such an incredible view of the Salmon River. I have photographed engaged couples, expecting mothers and families all at this location. During the warmer months you certainly have to watch out for cactus and various pokies so it's not always my first choice for little ones. 

I was thankful for Reigh, she was such a big help with her little sister Leah. They just love one another. Their bond is so amazing. Reigh is so gentle and loving. She helped so much during their session and we got some great photos of just the two of them.
