Orr Family
The family made it through another family session, believe it or not.
Wrangling the three Orr boys can be quite the challenge for Tiffanie and somehow Thomas, the youngest one is the easiest one to wrangle. The key to photographing this bunch - keep moving. We can't stay or sit in the same spot too long. The boys get impatient and it starts to go downhill fast.
I know you see a lot of smiley happy kids throughout my website and that is not always the case. A lot of families I photograph with younger children can tell you that sometimes there are tears before those smiles, snotty noses in between spots but one thing we never get bored and we keep it moving. I like to have fun with the kids because how awkward is it if we are just standing there in silence and I am depending on you to know what you are doing?
My goal for every session: for it to be fun and go by fast. So when littles get bored we move, we keep it moving and mix games with poses. I bet some parents would even tell you they walk away after a session and sometimes feel like you didn't get one good photo but once you see the gallery you are surprised how many smiles we got.
This goes for the Orr family, Ryan and Tiffanie have three energetic children who love hard and play hard. It's obvious we are going to be running around and playing games. That's just what we did just enough until Ryan was over it.
If you know Ryan, you may be surprised that Tiffanie can wrangle him to family photos every year, he is a little stubborn sometimes but we an get it to work where we get just enough photos of him and then he is out.
Tiffanie wore a dress from my client closet. I really love it! The colors are so beautiful right? I really love the cut and how flowy it is, plus Tiffanie looked gorgeous, as usual. I love that Gemma wore a dress too and the boys looked pretty handsome.
Thomas and Gemma are usually all smiles and Jack is in the stage of how many silly faces can he sneak in until I notice. Kids right?
*The client closet it available to all clients for sessions free of charge, if they would like. Items from the client may be rented as well.
