The Baer family is growing! 

I am so excited for Joel and Johnna (and Jayda), a baby is on the way. 

These two got married at the end of June and when it's time, it's time. They are expecting a little cowboy. This is so exciting for this little family. 

Johnna and Joel have been keeping this secret for some time and really they have been waiting on getting their family family photos done. I am so happy they did. 

Johnna and I scouted out this little spot earlier in the week to know where we could get some good fall colors. So glad we did since it seems it is all of a sudden winter. She picked a great yellow dress that complimented the majestic fall colors. Her goal for every session is to incorporate horses in some way. 

Joel always obliges and gets the horses photo ready and loaded. We re-created some photos from their summer 2020 engagement photos since they, of course, had horses in those too. Working with horses is very similar to children, they pretty much run the show, neither really "listen." 

We always end up with some really awesome horses photos, even when they can't listen. 

I am so excited to be spoiling a little cowboy this time. It is all kind of perfect really, isn't it? They already have Jayda and Joel needs a cowboy and Johnna needs a little boy. She has been such great "aunt" to my own son, it's so clear a boy is was going to be. She has three brothers so she is already prepped for it.
