It's Rodee!
How stinkin' cute is this little guy?
It wasn't long ago that I met with Michael and Jaycee at this same spot while Jaycee was expecting their baby boy. Time flies and now little Rodee is six months old and full of smiles and laughs. As any six-month-old he was constantly moving, so we kept moving. Babies can be hard to photograph but that's why I encourage tickles and playing.
Jaycee's parents were in town from Oregon so they snuck in for some photos too! I just love grandparent photos with little ones. Some of my more favorite photos are of me with my grandparents. I cherish those so much. So naturally they jump in on some photos with both Michael and Jaycee and Rodee.
I loved that we went to the same spot we did for their maternity pictures. I loved the before and after Jaycee of pregnant and than now with Rodee.
Same spot.
Months apart.
So much has changed.
The location has changed so much in just winter to fall and so many changes in this little family. It is such an amazing time. You are experiencing all of these "firsts" with your baby. Everything from first words, steps and seeing them develop their own little personality. It's really fun to take photos of little ones like this, really any child 4 and under. I always look at it like, "challenge accepted." You never know what you are going to get or what they are going to say.
If you don't know Jaycee, she is a third grade teacher at the Pioneer Elementary School. She happens to be my son's teacher and he just absolutely loves her. He had her for a class in Kindergarten and just fell in love with her soft demeanor. He was so excited when he found out she was his teacher. Michael's family owns Quality Beams Corporation (QB). My husband has worked there for the last couple years.
The fall leaves were nearly almost all gone. Fall is so beautiful but really doesn't last very long. But I love the glow in these, it was a morning session so there certainly was a frosty glow.
