It was great seeing these two cute ladies again this year! 

The last few times I photographed Coraline she hasn't been to "excited" and really that sure about me or getting her photos taken. At her age it's common to be shy and not really love it. But we still work thru it, help her feel comfortable and get some amazing shots. 

This year Coraline was super smiley and happy and it didn't take long at all for her to "warm up" to me. In fact she was even talking and running around. 

Jessie let Coraline pick out her own outfit for the photos and a red princess dress was the clear option. Coraline even paired the princess dress with the most adorable pink princess heels with a bow I might add. She was indeed dressed for the mommy and me photos. 

It's so fun to see these two every year. Jessie shared with me that she wants to start a book with photos from every year we take mommy and me photos so she will have them when she is older Coraline. This is a great reminder that we take all these beautiful photos but you should still be printing them. 

Also how special is it that Jessie is thinking of this now? My baby books and just photos of my childhood are still so very special to me and really so fun to go through. A lot of time they reignite a memory or feeling that I stored away and didn't forget but just need a slight reminder. 

This is photos of my childhood but also my "teen" years. This is before real digital photography and certainly before cameras on phones, well actually even before cellphones. I am so grateful I have all of these photos whether they are single prints or together in an album. Do you have any of your own baby photos?

Jessie, Coraline and I walked around checked out rocks, threw some in the river and all together had our best session yet!
