Isn't there something just special about a mom and her girls?
I just fell in love with this trio. Kristi follows me on Instagram and wanted to book a session for her girls. But her girls convinced her to actually BE IN the photos, which was a great idea. Jayda, sophomore in high school lives in Utah, is a cheerleader and knows just how to pose. She is so stinking gorgeous. Aubrey is 8 and will be in third grade - she loves gymnastics and has the cutest smiles and I just loved her "mermaid" hair.
The love and fun between these three was so amazing to watch. Kristi came to visit her grandparents in Salmon, since she is living in Missoula. It was so great to photograph a fellow "Salmonite." We strolled around and girls are so more prone to "pose for the camera," so it really was so easy.
Ironically I had just shot another mommy and me session earlier that day so my day was full of lots of mommy kisses and games. With a mommy and me session with all girls there are lots of "hold On" to get hair in place - but I expect nothing less honestly. I always appreciate mom wanting to move a hair or straighten a shirt - and I know they appreciate it when I tell them. That is part of the experience - knowing that I have your back and I am trying to watch for all of those little details that can get lost. No worries, I got you.
Have you ever had a mommy and me session? I haven't done as many this year and maybe should host a mommy and me day. Would you be interested?
