It is such a small world.
The worlds aligned and Julie ended up booking me thru my cousin who lives in California. Jeremy and Julie moved to Missoula a couple years ago, from the same area I grew up in, San Joaquin County, in California. Who also knows my cousin. So weird. My cousin tagged me in a post and the rest is history.
So I finally met Julie along with her husband, Jeremy and their adorable pup Jack. We bonded over the crazy California life and how amazing Montana-Idaho "life" is. That people are just nice here. Which is so true. If you live in Salmon you know it isn't uncommon for someone to just wave to wave and someone is always willing to help. Julie said the same for Missoula, that the community has really welcomed them and they LOVE it.
We went to a new park is the Missoula area that either of us have been to, and it did not disappoint. It was s gorgeous with trees, trails, river and rocks. It was a dream. I knew I wanted to go there and Jeremy and Julie checked it out the day prior, she sent me a video and it was set in stone that, that was THE spot.
Jeremy and Julie were also a dream.
We just walked around and I made them do silly things and we shared a lot of laughs. Jeremy was up for anything and Jack was the best little pup ever. I love being able to meet so many great new people. Julie is an artist based in the Missoula area and offers some amazing paint parties. You should certainly check her out, https://www.facebook.com/paintpartywithjulie. Jeremy's work is home based now and they truly enjoy one another's company.
I just really love these so much and can't wait to see them again and this time at their place, Julie has the most gorgeous view from her art room of the rolling hills in the outskirts of Missoula. I was so lucky that they were up for anything, lots of laughter and a little butt grabbing.
I have been slowly breaking into the Missoula-area for photography and have met so many great couples. I have done quite a few Bitterrroot area weddings and would love to book more couples and family sessions.
