Frank & Susan - Winter Wonderland
Frank and Susan got married on a true winter day at their home here in Salmon. They have a beautiful home up Thomas Estates and their view of the valley is incredible.
While we have had a mild winter, Susan and Frank ended up with "real" winter weather on their wedding day. They were lucky to have some fresh snow fall the night before which really made the day even more beautiful. The high winds pushed their vow exchange inside but it didn't
I really love that I have such an array of clients and couples especially couples. Frank and Susan got married at their home surrounded by maybe 14 people, the closest people to them, their friends and their family.
Rebecca, Susan's daughter, made the trek to Salmon, "the middle of nowhere," for this day and it lived up to a beautiful winter wonderland wedding.
Of all the weddings I have photographed, I have never had a bride cook her own food. As many of Susan's friends mentioned, she is an incredible chef. And, yes, you read that right, she cooked her own wedding dinner.
She had a roast, poached salmon, meatballs, mashed potatoes and welcomed all of their friends who have become family into their special day. It was so amazing to spend just a few hours with all of these people.
