Derrin and Savannah get married this weekend in the greatest intimate wedding. It was so beautiful and romantic. The colors of a deep burgundy red and the ambience of the candles and lights it was truly a dream.
The two got married at Sweet Water Hollow and it was transformed for this simple and sweet wedding. The ceremony was held for just 20 people and was lit by candles and soft hanging lights. Chimerie, mother of the bride, really created an amazing environment. There were hand cut logs along the aisle of burlap with fall leaves and branches leading Savannah to Darin. It was beautiful.
The couple exchanged their own vows. So sweet. I really love when couples exchange hand written vows, it's so sweet. Jay Wiley married the two, a long time family friend. Savannah had her best friend Bailey standing by her side along with her sister Makenna, the flower girl. Derrin was accompanied by his father standing at the front.
The short guest list was treated to a table-service dinner featuring prime rib and baked potatoes. The tables were draped in linen tablecloths with beautiful floral centerpieces. Dinner was served on fine China from the bride's family, a great personal touch. The tables were really incredible and reminiscent of a quant little restaurant. Remember those?
The candle-lit wedding was seriously the most amazing thing ever. It was everything you want in a wedding - intimate, romantic and full of love.
