Backyard Wedding on the Salmon River - Salmon, Idaho
An intimate river wedding in May.
Nick and Kisha hosted the best little intimate wedding for their family this spring. Everything came together perfectly even the weather - for the most part. Everything from her wedding dress to her table decor she was planning from afar or online.
Nick and Kisha chose Nick's parents property along the Salmon River. A special spot and really beautiful. They have a beautifully landscaped yard, a small pond and if you follow the dirt road it will take you past their cabin and right to the Salmon River.
It is such a beautiful piece of land with tall trees right on the river. Nick's father built a beautiful arch for the day. He positioned is just right for the afternoon sun. He also made benches for guests which was a just a beautiful and great. The special guests were shuttled down to the river for the ceremony.
Kisha was walked down the aisle by her Uncle Rick, Nick was accompanied by Rigby, the couple's German Shepperd. Their short ceremony was officiated by Nick's brother-in-law, Collin. The beauty of small intimate weddings, they are so personal.
Her Pinterest inspired table was beautiful with sage runners bronze candle holders and tall tapered white candles. She had these great centerpieces with peach flowers and greenery. As usual Justine and Cyndi at Fleurish Floral killed it with the flowers. I am always amazed by their work. Somehow they combine the perfect colors with the right amount of balance and their bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces are always a piece of art. There honestly hasn't been a wedding where I don't hear rave reviews about them. This wedding was no different.
I try to always use the bouquet for some ring shots. These are special, the ring is Nick's mother's. They had some flowers specifically to honor her at the ceremony. Kisha also surprised as the women with corsages as all honorary bridesmaids.
Kisha had asked if I would take some photos of her sister-in-law who was expecting her first. I don't normally do that but I knew we would have some extra time based on the number of guests and what they were do that day. I think we nailed it in the backyard.
For dinner they served one of their favorites - pizza. Last Chance Pizza tossed some pizza dough and guests were treated to the Bullrider, Pesto Sticks, Vegetation and Hawaiian pizza. According Kisha, pineapple does belong on pizza.
I was so surprised by the best Thank You gift basket from Nick and Kisha. It was full on Front Street Market goodies. The gorgonzola spread was to die for and the garlic parmesan dipping oil was pretty much gone in one day. It was so good.
