Tyrell & Lisa wed in Baptist Church
I ended July on a high note at Tyrell and Lisa's wedding.
The two got married at the Salmon Valley Baptist Church in Salmon. A traditional day with a church wedding with the help of Pastor Mike Palmer. They decorated the church with sunflowers and quotes from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."
The couple chose a beautiful sage-like green for the bridesmaid's dresses and nice grey suits for the groomsmen. Green must be THE COLOR this year. I have seen a lot of green dresses and greenery. And every single bride made it look beautiful.
Lisa looked stunning in her white wedding gown. It was so gorgeous and I loved the curls Shana Olson from Shear Bliss gave her. Lisa is so naturally gorgeous though right?
Behind the church they set up tables and white tents. Each table had a beautiful colorful centerpiece of sunflowers and candles on a wooden piece. Near dinner time each table had chips and salsa to go along with their catered dinner by The Taco Wagon.
While their over-all wedding day was very traditional I always love "first looks." This is when the couple take a moment before the ceremony and see one another. This is really a great moment for the couple so they can really see each other and take it all in before they walk down the aisle.
Lisa and Tyrell had their own first look and it's really fun. To see and really capture their genuine reactions without the eyes of dozens of people watching. If you are a couple planning their wedding - consider it! These two were really fun together. I do hear a lot of "we are kind of awkward" which I think we all are at some point in front of a camera but these two interacted with each other as if I wasn't there and that allowed us to get some amazing shots.
Plus they really lucked out with a "cooler" day and a lot less smoke! Tell me what you think in the comments.
