Three WEDDING venues you need to see in SALMON, IDAHO

Hi, I'm Annette an East Idaho Wedding Photographer based in Salmon, Idaho. If you are planning a destination wedding to this beautiful hidden gem, I am here to help.

I have been photographing weddings for over seven years and have had my fair share of venue and location experiences. Deciding on the location can be hard to do so let me show you through pictures.

I put together three of my favorite locations to photograph weddings at here in Salmon, Idaho.

Sweet Water Hollow

A little nook close to town has a great grassy area for dancing and tables. Located close in town, walking distance for guests to and from hotels. When you arrive and walk down into the venue you forget you are in a city and now you are in this beautiful little slice of heaven.

They have a large stage perfect for music, a DJ or even dancing. They have a built in bar, a kitchen, a balcony - the list goes on and on. In addition to the amenities for the reception there are options for the couple to stay and get ready onsite.

There is a small bridge leading to the where I have seen most ceremonies be held. A little beautiful spot next to the river surrounded by trees. Some the of the best receptions I have been to have been at Sweet Water Hollow. It always seems the dancers are there. The grassy area has space for tables, dancing and food.

Phillips Property

If you want lots of foliage along the river this is for you! This property has been kept up for events and is just a little perfect private enchanted forest. There is a bar already there for you to utilize. A lot of space for dancing, sitting and the ceremony all in one place with minimum walking. This location is really great for summer mid-day weddings, the trees allow a lot of great shade!

I love this location since it is quite large. There is plenty of space for large wedding parties and lot of different photo opportunities. Every wedding I have been to has split the property in two, the ceremony on one side and reception on the other. This works great, you really feel like you left the ceremony area.

Plenty of room for lots of tables, dance floor, catering tables - everything. This location is only available during the summer during certain dates so make sure you get in!

Huckleberry Hollow

This sweet spot is located just about 9 miles outside of Salmon in Baker. The property is right on the river, has a small orchard, a pond area, willow trees and is really gorgeous. I recently did a fall wedding here and it was gorgeous! See some of it HERE. The outdoor space is cozy and is just big enough for space but feel "together." There is a small cabin on the grounds where the girls got ready at.

This is out of city limits to the party can go on longer at this location.
