If you are anything like me you probably make every excuse in the book to not treat yourself. I can always come up with a reason of why I don't "need" something even though I truly want it. But guess what? I may have not "needed" it but I wanted it and didn't spoil myself or treat myself because well, that's just what we do. I need to remind myself that it's okay to buy something for myself even if I didn't need it. 

Here are three reasons you shouldn't skip on mommy and me photos. 

1. Time truly does fly.

When I was "younger" I used to think time does not fly, in fact I always looked toward the end of things, school, work, etc. Now that I am "older" I find myself no longer looking to the end of things but looking back and wondering, "where the hell did time go?" Now I am at the "end" of something reminiscing on how it was. I cannot believe my son is EIGHT! I swear it just a few years ago he was just starting school, now he is reading and quizzing me on math homework. So don't wait until next year, next year you are going to regret not doing it this year during THIS time. Every stage is special, every year is special. 

2. You deserve it. 

I am always thinking, "Oh, I want to do that with my kid." And then, never do it. This is usually with cute photos of matching Halloween costumes, or matching Christmas jammies and I know deep down that it far too much work for me. But I know I still deserve not just "decent" photos of my kids - we all deserve amazing pictures of our kids and us with our kids. I want to feel special too and get those super sweet moments with my son that I see on Pinterest. And these Mommy and Me Sessions are exactly what you deserve. You deserve those special moments captured in a photograph for you to have forever.

3. They are actually pretty fun. 

I know as you hear "photo session" that doesn't sounds fun. Add the element of children, the "great idea" just went down a couple notches. But in reality THEY ARE FUN. Why? Because we make them fun. We play games, we run around because they are kids and that's what is fun! Plus this allows the kids to be comfortable with me! I want you and your kids to fell comfortable and be comfortable and that sometimes that's harder for little ones. At the end you will realize that it was fun - you got to spend a really great time with your kids and got incredible photos from that.
