Jarrod and Jordan tied the knot
Jarrod and Jordan got married over the weekend.
These two finally tied the knot and it was great. They had their celebration at the Phillips' Property, one of my favorite places to go. The Phillips' property is one of my favorites because it is big yet, small, and has trees! Trees are important during summer weddings for guests to hide from the sun and heat. The property also has a built-in bar and dance floor - it's a win win.
Jordan was breathtaking. She looked so gorgeous. Jordan is beautiful on any other day but today she wore a fitted white dress, lace details and a gorgeous lace train. It fit her like a glove and Jarrod kept telling her, "that is a nice dress."
They said, I do with the Salmon River rushing by, clear sunny skies and an arch that was a work of art in itself. The triangle arch was layered, a smaller one under the other one, it was decorated with moose paddles, elk horns, some greenery, feather and a skull at the top. It was really beautiful, very rustic chic and was nothing like I have ever seen. I loved the balance between the sides without be exact. You have to see it here.
Jarrod and Jordan has a ton of guests, which I think everyone expected. They knew they didn't want to leave the guests for too long and not let them eat and had a quick plan for some portraits so they can enjoy their day with their family and friends.
I got to take photos of the groomsmen and the bridesmaids prior to the ceremony without Jordan and Jarrod seeing each other. Jordan's bridesmaids made her feel like the queen she is and they all were great during their photos. I wanted to try something different with the groomsmen. Ya know, sometimes it's hard thinking outside the box and you feel like it's the same things - so it's the year of change up and trying new things. I asked the guys to throw Jarrod up in the air. They looked at me like I was crazy but quickly said, "okay." I included a photos but I put together a video here.
Jordan's sister, Danielle is married to Jarrod's brother Tyler. So they have built in double-dates, best friends, aunties/uncles - for life. It was really great seeing the blending of the families and both of them made sure to include their "step" parents as well. It was really beautiful. Everyone felt and was included which is really great for the parents and children.
Jordan had the most gorgeous bouquet with white hydrangeas and these amazing black feathers, its was dark and moody and so beautiful. Fleurish Floral outdid themselves again. I can't get over it and I know Jordan wanted to keep it and can't wait to see what she has planned for it.
I know they partied all night long and had a blast thanks to their DJ, Mike. It was such a great day and so happy I got to be there for it with both Jarrod and Jordan! I can't wait to see what the future holds.
