I have been busy with quite a few extended family sessions this year. These are special because it's usually a family visiting family in Salmon or just all getting together and vacationing in Salmon. 

The Moorhead family came to town and snuck in a session while everyone was together. These are always great ideas because 
 1. You are all together - when is the next time that will happen 
 2. They are always chaotic but that is normal. When more than 13 people get together with a bunch of little kids it isn't always "gravy" but that's where I come in
 3. This is a great opportunity to get photos with grandkids and grandparents - parents and kids and adults siblings - it's worth it. 

The Moorhead family did so well moving around to get all the different combinations we could and any "extras" we may have needed or wanted. I thought they all did a great job matching and blending their outfits together given how many people and individual families. 

Some of the my favorite photos are grandchildren with their grandparents - it's so special. I know these photos will be seen for years and years to come and that's what makes it so special. I am helping you create moments that turn into memories, we are literally stopping time in place and capturing those moments. 

These moments are belly laughs, kisses and hand holding and raspberries - a lot of things with an "expiration" date. The hand holding and cheek kisses from you child may stop one day. The true belly laughs from tickles won't be too cute for long. These are the moments to capture to put in a "forever time capsule."

It really is such an honor to capture these times for all of these families knowing my work will be treasured for decades by families. So amazing.
