It's been far too long since I have seen the Lundeen family. 

Chris, Lisa and their three boys: Beckham, Baylor and Bishop. I haven't photographed them since Bishop was small. So it has been years since they have had family photos in Salmon. 

Living in Tennessee and now North Carolina - they aren't close to quickly get some family photos. While they live on the east coast that doesn't stop them from visiting Lemhi County often. 

Salmon is home. 

Lisa and I scheduled some family photos during their trip home this time. It is always a balance planning family photos while on vacation but then add weather. This "summer" we are getting so much rain it doesn't even feel like summer. For every one sunny day, we get three rainy cloudy days. So in great Idaho weather fashion, it rained. And rained. 

We had a small sliver of hope one day and it worked out great. I have actually photographed the Lundeens at this location in the past (see the older photos below). We weren't able to access the river but we still got some beautiful photos on the property on the Big Flat. 

All three boys were great during the session. Baylor who I remember wasn't the biggest fan of family photos, really loved the camera this time around. He even requested special poses. He really liked being in front of the camera. I left one below. 

It was so wonderful seeing the Lundeen family again and really enjoy photographing this sweet family any chance I get.
