Ben & Lizzie get married at Redfish Lake, Stanley Idaho
Stanley, Idaho Wedding
I love weddings in Stanley and I get so pumped anytime I book one. Stanley is beautiful, we all know that but every wedding I have photographed there was beautiful, intimate and some of my favorites.
Ben and Lizzie's were no exception.
They got ready with their bridal party at a gorgeous AirBnB. They shared the space but didn't see one another until their first look. As they prepped for their big day their friends assisted them.
It was such a beautiful day in Stanley.
They exchanged private vows right on Redfish Lake. While they didn't exchange the vows in front of all their guests, they decided to share their vows with their closest friends, their bridal party. Private vows has been very common the last couple of years. Couples want to write their own vows but don't want to share them in front of ALL their guests. If you ask me, pure anxiety would come over me and I would be nervous. Ben and Lizzie exchanging their vows with just their friends was perfection.
They held a ceremony in front of their closest friends who were standing next to them and their family. They played rock, paper scissor to decide who went first in the ceremony. These two were really fun. They also did a Handfasting Ceremony. They used several colored ribbons and it was so neat.
They were right on the Lake with the Sawtooth Mountains in the back. Redfish Lake has some breathtaking views. All of Stanley is spectacular.
They enjoyed a sit down dinner with their guests at the Limbert's right in the Redfish Lake Lodge. Spy the menu, it was SO good. The Caesar salad was to die for.
