Kassy ROCKED her session. 

Maternity is one of those special memories when it's a hit or miss if it happens. Kassy planned early, she's had these booked for quite awhile and still has time left in her pregnancy. This is exactly what every expecting mom should do. Does it always happen this way? No. I myself didn't get maternity photos because it doesn't always pan out as we plan but scheduling and planning is crucial for less stress moms! 

In addition to less stress when you are planning them out you can schedule them for when you feel good - SUPER IMPORTANT. I never suggest expecting mothers to wait until the last minute, this is usually the worst time and they time moms just don't feel "like themselves." 

Kassy wore one dress and brought a second. She wasn't too sure about the second but she brought it along just in case. Her mom tagged along and was the best assistant. She was so happy to be apart of this experience with Kassy. 

Maternity sessions are so special and Kassy's was no exception. We took some photos with her first dress and then the second. Both beautiful but the long blue one was my favorite. The lighting was gorgeous we opted for a morning session since it was suppose to rain in the afternoon. Of course it didn't rain like it was suppose to, but I am happy we went with morning since that was the only sun we saw the rest of the day. 

Kassy looked so beautiful, expecting mom just really do have a "glow." The beauty of maternity sessions isn't just about getting photos of your bump, it's about feeling good about yourself too. Some expecting moms, probably most, don't feel 100% confident in themselves at this stage and while they are all still beautiful pregnancy takes a toll on you. Some women will start to swell, feel uncomfortable and the idea of being in front of camera is crazy. But my job as a maternity photographer is showing you how beautiful you are even when you don't feel it. 

In addition to an outfit change she brought a wig. I loved this and she wasn't sure she was even going to try it, but I always encourage clients to try so they can never say we didn't at least try it. She looked beautiful with the wig and without!
