This session is so special. Once upon a time I used to babysit MaKenna and her sister Ali. Mostly on weekends when her dad was playing at the bar in his and brother's band - The Burley Brothers. If you are a "Salmonite" you know. That seems like ages ago and now she has her own children now - teens. I feel old. 

I know this session is special to MaKenna she has wanted these for so long and the logistics of kids, husband and traveling from Blackfoot to Salmon. Yes, they live in Blackfoot and the day we planned these nothing went right. I am sure you know how that feels on the ONE day everything needs to just go smooth and nothing does. 

They had a flat tire and got into Salmon late but everything does work out for a reason because we got the most beautiful light the next day. Giving Makenna her "dream" photos is so incredible. 

We got so many great photos with all of them and it was really just perfect. I appreciate them so much in traveling all the way here for family photos. I feel so thankful for all my clients who travel, don't travel but invest me and allow me to invest myself into their lives and their children's lives.
