I just updated my emergency bag today and I am so excited for this cute holographic bag from The House of Flynn. It is the smallest of the set the other two, one being a backpack, it just as adorable as this sweet gem. I couldn't believe everything in my "emergency" kit fit. I have two camera bags from The House of Flynn already, and am in love with them. They have lasted quite a few years now.
This special holographic set is not a camera bag set but are so cute and 90s inspired - so I needed them.
This was the perfect time to unpack and re-pack my "emergency" kit and photograph it to share with you! So here are 10 things in my emergency kit.
TRAVEL SIZE MEDICINE: Headaches, upset stomach, allergies - I have medicine to cover you. You never know when "something" will strike and I carry these for last resorts. I obviously don't want you to come to a session sick but I have these on me just in case. Plus you can't skip your wedding for a headache.
HAIR TIES and PINS: I carry two sizes of ties because each one serves a different purpose really and the tiny ones are really nice when you need it. The safety pins are great for falling out updos and bangs you need to keep in place on your littles. Moms are always super appreciative when I say, "I have a small hair tie."
SAFETY PINS: These niffty little things are so handy for clothes, decorations, really anything so I carry a few small ones on me.
SEWING KIT: I don't really know how to sew but I did take a home economics class so I know how to attach a basic button or just get something to stay together temporarily. Chances are someone will know how to sew at a wedding and this is just a handy-little kit is the answer to any clothing emergency.
LINT ROLLER: This is a MUST. This comes in handy for family sessions. Chances are someone will jump out of the car and have just a little lint on them, enough for mom to try and brush it off. The lint roller is just for this reason, lint, animal hair, whatever it is - I have it covered.
LOTION: Dry hands drive me nuts so maybe this one is more for me but lotion is sometimes a necessity to take that edge off of those annoying dry hand feeling.
QTIPS: Eyeliner smear, lipstick smudge - the use for q-tips is endless so I think they are always a must in any emergency kit.
MOUTHWASH: This one is random but I feel like its safer than a truth brush and toothpaste.
DEODORANT: I have a small travel size deodorant in my kit because a lot of brides actually space putting it on or space grabbing it. I know you are probably reading this, "I would never forget that!" But it happens to the best of us and it actually happens more times, than not.
HAND SANITIZER: This is almost self explanatory, yes, hand sanitizer. You never know when you need it, but also will probably want it more than ever these days.
I also carry chapstick and a lighter in my camera bag + a mask in my House of Flynn Evermore bag. What is something you carry in your purse?
