Howdy, Ashley - Salmon High School Senior
Salmon Junior-Senior High School Senior
It is officially senior season. I love senior sessions. I really enjoy the posing aspect of photography so working one-on-one with a senior is right up my alley. I will tell you how to stand, where to go and how to move. The number one question during a session? "What do I do with my hands?" I will tell you what to do with your hands.
While this is one of my favorite aspects I didn't have to pose Ashley too much. She is a natural and niece of a photographer, so she has a lot of practice.
We did her senior photos at her family's ranch, Edwards Ranch. It is one of my most favorite places to take photos. I love taking the Edwards' family photos, they are always fun and I always get to utilize this beautiful piece of land. They have open fields, trees, mountains and the sun hits just right at the right time.
Ashley had this beautiful chair setup and ready to go for her session. She said she saw the idea on TikTok but made it western. It was perfection. I loved her outfit choice, with her hat and all her turquoise jewelry, she look so beautiful. We really just ran out the field and took fun photos while her sister, grandma and mom watched and made her giggle.
I love that Ashley had a full circle vision with her props, outfit - it just all came together perfectly. We ditched the chair and hat for some to just lay in the grass and catch those gorgeous sun rays.
Ashley booked a fall session too so I can't wait to see what we can create with the golden autumn foliage too.
