Kai and Karissa are getting married!

After some thoughtful conversations and weighing their options, these two decided that this is the year they’ll tie the knot—and I couldn't be happier for them. There’s something so exciting about watching a couple say "yes" to forever, and being part of that journey is a joy I never take for granted.

With wedding plans officially in motion, we found a perfect window to sneak in their engagement photos. Idaho's spring weather really showed off for us that day! I always say spring is one of my favorite seasons to shoot in, and this session was a reminder why. The soft, golden light filtered through overcast skies, a gentle breeze carried the scent of fresh blossoms, and everything felt calm, cozy, and a little bit magical.

Like many grooms-to-be, Kai wasn’t super thrilled about being in front of the camera. (Let’s be real—some of you reading this are probably nodding along because your partner feels the exact same way!) But he was such a good sport. He played along with all my silly prompts, gave Karissa the best genuine smiles, and even snuck in a few laughs of his own. It didn’t take long before they were both relaxed and having fun, and that’s when the real magic happened.

We captured so many beautiful, authentic moments—ones that reflect their connection, their laughter, and the sweet quietness between them. Karissa absolutely glowed, and seeing the way Kai looked at her made my heart melt.
