Cap and Gown Session

This was another great session with Haylee for her senior year at Salmon Junior-Senior High School. This time we did a cap and gown session and her boyfriend Tristan came along for his very own photos this time as well.  

This was really just a fun session for their senior year. They came with props and ideas and it was FUN. We were able to get some amazing shots right near the Salmon River thanks to Tristan's dad, Jeff's gorgeous property. 

Spring is truly my favorite time of year for photographs. The grass is green, the trees are budding and the flowers are blooming. Plus the sun seems to be just perfection during the spring. On the very back of Jeff's property, we were hidden behind the full trees with the best spot for Tristan and Haylee's photos. 

Tristan and Haylee have been dating since eighth grade, so doing cap and gown photos together is special. These two have literally grown up together. During their session Haylee's mom was showing my a photo the Tristan and Haylee at Kindergarten graduation together. The true definition of high school sweethearts. 

Both Tristan and Haylee are Salmon FFA members so getting a photo with their FFA jackets was a must. Tristan has been a member of Salmon FFA for all four years of high school and Haylee joined her sophomore year of high school. She held office position for FFA with vice president her last position. 

He also brought his rope, he is part of the High School Rodeo Club and participates in team roping, and calf roping. He has brought along a shotgun and we recreated a photo where is looks like Tristan is shooting his graduation cap. 

It's fun when the students have props of things that may mean something special to them for the four years of their life. So many of these student dedicate so much time to extra curricular activities, sports, and often jobs. These "things" and hobbies they have developed over the years are so incredibly important to them. 

Haylee wore the cutest orange top, jeans and matching orange heels. With the Salmon High School colors orange, black and white it was perfect. She had some great ideas for her photos.
