Showing Who You Are Through Branding
I have always been creative, in many different forms. Everything from art to writing and design to daydreaming. My love for art went from drawing to watercolor painting and then my love for photography grew.
I fell in love with the ability to be creative behind the camera and taking photos of people. I really like the creative freedom with posing people and moving them and just getting the best photo overall but also making the client feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera.
Now that I have been doing photography for 10 years, I will admit sometimes I feel like I am on repeat or in a "rut." While every session is, in fact different, every session is very similar as well. During winter the creative rut is really low too.
When Chloe and Lindsey sent me their inspiration photos for her upcoming branding sessions at Sweet Cheeks Waxing & Skincare I knew they were going to be fun and creative. Branding sessions are a good way to show your potential customers/clients who you are and keep in touch with current clients.
During branding sessions I love for you to use your own tools and accessories and use things that show what you love and who you are.
Lindsey, a nurse injector, her props were her needles, her white coat, gloves, etc. Chloe, a hollow needle piercer, her props were also gloves, needles, earrings etc. What I really love is both of these women offer services in the same place but are different people with different personalities and I love showing that off.
I always have the best time when I am around Chloe it's even more fun when I am taking her picture. She has been in front of my camera a lot of times over the year and I feel like this was our best session yet.
This set of branding photos, was so much fun and CREATIVE. As a hollow needle piercer, Chloe has props to show and she can hold but she isn't going to use 20 photos of just her tools.
We just had fun in the shop and took photos of HER and her personality because once you know Chloe you are going to want a new piercing. She is so fun and down to earth, she had so many great ideas and helped my creative juices get going for a killer session. She really wanted more retro/vintage vibes so I did edit some a little different for her to share on her page.
