Just when I thought we may just actually have an "early" spring we got dumped on with snow. And then more came. And more. I am over it.
We got so much snow they canceled school for our kids one day this week plus they already had President's Day off - so it was a long weekend.
Harli and I ventured out into the fresh 6 plus inches of snow to take some fun, unplanned portraits. We went to the Island and I brought along my bar stool and step stool. Harli does whatever dumb things I ask of her. This wasn't Harli's first session with me, we did her senior portraits around fall time. We had a lot of fun and discovered Harli makes her self giggle just slightly when I ask her to smile.
She wore a cute sweater, ripped jeans and a jean beanie. I didn't expect to get stuck but by the time were were done, Harli reversed and slipped away fast. My on the other hand, reversed and just couldn't get back over the dip. I got stuck.
Luckily, my brother and sister in law saved the day and me really and finally got out 45 minutes, some shoveling, and pushing later.
I really love how Harli's photos look and added some snow in some and took out the dog walkers in others. I love how fun and natural they are and not posed as much!
