Casperson Family - Carmen
I always look forward to my sessions with the Casperson family.
It's taken a few years to get Jared accustomed to photos. It all started with some mini sessions with Rae when she was little. The cutest little redhead. Then I got to take their engagement sessions and Jared was HOOKED.
He loved taking photos so much he wanted to do it over, and over, and over. I am just kidding. In fact Jared isn't a huge fan of photos, but we have done enough sessions by now that he knows what to expect. He has been trained well.
This year Keila wanted to photos earlier in the year, last year they did family photos later in the year and it was a little chilly. That is a "con" when opting for fall photos, we never know when fall will "end" and just get plain cold out. Idaho.
This year had it's own issues. Of course on the day of the session and the time, it was raining, well kind of. We kind of scrambled for a place, Keila and Jared debated between two choices and went with the latter.
A great piece of property in Carmen. It has a beautiful large yard, trees, a pond and creek. I have done several weddings here and a couple sessions. It really is a gem. And if your are thinking "is it that one" yes it is.
At one point when I first started taking photos of the Casperson family, Rae was not always into it. I was a stranger and she was so young she didn't know what to expect and do, sometimes she hated me and other times she gave me some of my most favorite photos to date.
This time, Rae who is ready to start Kindergarten was loving photos and knew what poses she wanted. She was so cute and has mom and dad wrapped around her little finger. Clancy was finally old enough to give me some really good smiles. He has the best facial expressions, don't you think?
Fall is quickly approaching, meaning so is hunting season. I say it every single year, hunting season is my biggest competitor. Fall is prime time for those perfect colored trees, cooler weather and warm sweaters but that comes in hand with early morning hunts and evening hike outs. Scheduling is never fun around hunting season, so I encourage families who do hunt during the fall months to schedule early!
I am hosting a PRIME fall day, October 8th.
What does that mean? I will be hosting several family session that one day, since that should be a prime fall day with the colors plus on the PERFECT piece of private property.
