Mr. & Mrs. Frederick and their BEST DAY EVER
Zach and Jacque got married
This whole day was so great from the start to the very end and every minute was jam packed with a fun surprise of sorts.
We had not one but two first looks with Jacque. She looked so gorgeous.
Jacque and Zach’s Salmon, Idaho wedding was nothing short of magical—a day filled with heartfelt moments, laughter, and endless dancing, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the Salmon River. As an Idaho wedding photographer, I have the pleasure of capturing countless beautiful weddings, but this one truly stands out as one of the most fun and personal celebrations I’ve ever been a part of.
The day began with a unique and emotional touch—Jacque did not just one, but two first looks. Her first was with her son AJ, and it was a moment that left everyone in awe. There’s something so special about a mother and son sharing that moment before the ceremony, and the connection between Jacque and AJ was undeniable. The joy and pride in AJ’s eyes as he saw his mom in her wedding dress for the first time was truly heartwarming. It was clear that they share a bond that goes beyond words.
Next came the highly anticipated first look between Jacque and Zach. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. As Jacque approached Zach, you could feel the excitement building. When Zach finally turned around to see his bride, his face lit up with pure love and admiration. It was a beautiful, intimate moment that truly set the tone for the rest of the day.
The dance floor quickly became the focal point of the reception, thanks to their incredible DJ who knew exactly how to keep the energy high and the fun going. There were so many incredible dance moments, but one that stands out was Jacque’s first dance with AJ. What started as a sweet, slow dance quickly turned into an epic choreographed routine. It was such a fun surprise, and the crowd absolutely loved it. The laughter and cheers from everyone around made the moment even more special.
Of course, no wedding would be complete without some good-natured humor, and Jacque’s maid of honor delivered in the best way possible. She had custom koozies made featuring what she called “bad” photos of Jacque. It was hilarious! These koozies became a hit among the bridal party and added such a lighthearted, personal touch to the day. There was so much laughter and joy, and you could tell that everyone there was having the time of their lives. And called the "JAC-OOZIE."
The food was equally memorable. Jacque and Zach chose to serve tacos, which was such a fun and casual choice that fit the vibe of the day perfectly. Tacos and cake might just be the best wedding food combination ever, and judging by the smiles on everyone’s faces, I’m sure the guests would agree.
Overall, Jacque and Zach’s wedding was a beautiful, personal, and incredibly fun celebration. From the emotional first looks to the non-stop dancing and everything in between, this was a day that was all about love, laughter, and creating memories. I feel so honored to have been a part of it, and I’m grateful to have captured such a wonderful day in Salmon, Idaho. If you’re looking for an Idaho wedding photographer who loves to capture not just the big moments, but the small, personal details that make your day unique, I’d be honored to help you tell your love story!
