Nate & Lindsay are planning a 2023 wedding
These two are planning a 2023 wedding and its going to be one for the books.
I have worked with these two quite a few times now and usually they have their five boys in tow. This session was all about them and it was great.
The first few sessions I have done with Nate he wasn't sure what to expect but he's gotten so much better with going with the flow and just doing whatever I ask, which I really appreciate. He knows the less he complains and more we get done, the faster he cane go. He has learned.
He always does what I ask and this session was no different. From making him pick Lindsay up, lay on the ground, get in the water - they both rocked it. Lindsay brought two outfits which gives a variety to your session but not required.
It was smoky, but it had lifted just enough due some wind. We have been suffering in Lemhi County by smoke due to the huge wildland fire Moose Creek Fires. Many people have been evacuated and the fire has grown to over 30,000 acres and sits at about 10% containment. Awful.
We live in an area where we do experience wildland fires almost every single year - if not, every single year but this one is close! With fire you never know where the smoke is going to go and it's been settling right in town.
Despite smoke and wind we were able to find a great spot to try and hide from both. We got so many shots and I love they let me do whatever. It's fun to try new poses and things.
Wedding planning
If you are 2023 couple planning a wedding, big or small, plan ahead. This year I have couples booking 11 to 12 months in advance. Yeah, a whole year. That may seem crazy BUT Salmon is growing and we have really become a destination location for elopements and actual destination weddings. Plan ahead and contact your vendors and reserve them for your day. Plus pre-planning means less stress later and you can stretch that budget over time so it's not all at once.
