Martin Family 2024 

I met with the Martin family for a summer family session here in Salmon. I have photographed quite a few milestones for the Martin family, including their wedding. 

Being able to work with the family so many times over so many years you really get to know one another and what they like and don't like. Every year Jeremiah gets better and better at this family session thing and so are the kids.

That is one of the best parts of being able to see the same family every year you build a relationship not just with the parents but the children as well which is a big part of family photos if you have kids, right? When the children know me or recognize me they are often more relaxed, feel a little better and doesn't take as long to get them to relax. 

We got so many great photos of this family of four. They were so much fun, and Tad he has become quite the little poser, he has a pose for the camera every time, and I appreciate it. 

Ever since Tad could realize he may be able to take the photo, he has asked to take one during the session. I let him every time as asks. He's taken pictures of his mom and the scenery, wherever we may be for their session. So, of course, he wanted to take photos this session as well. We made  the usual deal, at the end of the session. He a photo of Lily and one of his dad and mom and Lily. Lily had a turn and took a photo of Tad and the scenery. I put some of them below. 

This is part of the memory building for the Martin family. They are building fun memories from small moments during their session that the kids will remember when they look back at the photos in years to come.

Family photo sessions are more than just a time to gather and smile for the camera; they are an opportunity to capture the essence of your family's unique bond. Years from now, these images will serve as a window to the past, bringing back the sounds, smells, and emotions of those precious moments.
