I met Lance and Jennifer when I took their holiday pictures for their business Salmon River Chiropractic.
They have always been pretty awesome clients and their sweet spot is, the shorter and smoother the better. One year they included the children in their holiday card and I think Harlan, their youngest cried the whole time. He hated it. This year I was so excited how well he did!
Over the short few years the kids have become conditioned and some years are better than others.
Evi seemed to love it. Something I see a lot with little girls. She looked so cute in a borrowed jean skirt, the neatest belt buckle - she is adorable. Cash is a typical 12-year-old boy, and photos are just not his thing. But he pushed through.
A lot of time parents think, "How is my family this way for photos?" But let me tell you - it's normal. I never go into a family photo session expecting perfection, it just isn't going to happen. Besides I like the challenge. I know there will probably be at least one family member pushing their limits, sometimes it's the kids and other times it's dad.
I went to the family's home up Fourth of July Creek for their photos this year! They live in such a beautiful area. We took a very short side-by-side ride just above their home and really loved the spot. It was just a little hazy due to the fires but it really helped with the sun.
I have left some extra sneak peeks below for the time being while I work through their gallery!
