Aldous Family - Idaho Fall Family Photos
I always enjoy my sessions with the Aldous Family.
Toryn and Reese are getting more and more into family sessions as they get older. If you book yearly family photos you probably have experienced when you younger children just don't want to participate and still wonder why a stranger is following them with a camera.
This is common for younger children, it's often uncomfortable and awkward for adults, and that applies to children as well. When they get just a little older they are more interested in the process and "spots." I always try to make the family session, fun and easy. I want it to be a fun experience for everyone, including the children.
This year Toryn and Reese took turns playing leader, they picked spots to stop and take photos - this makes them feel involved. Letting the children feel more involved makes them feel more apart of it and enjoy their time more. These two get a lot of practice with photos because they take front porch pictures for their mom nearly every single day.
Toryn and Reese ran around and we explored. Toryn protected Reese from snakes - there weren't any but Reese was concerned. The boys are growing up so fast, time truly does fly by. I feel like I see Danielle and Tyler all the time during the summer. Danielle has been in a few weddings I photographed this summer and will probably be at more next year!
I love Toryn's serious face.
