Did you ever go to prom? What about a "ladies" only prom? 

Tiffanie Orr at Sweet Cheeks Waxing and Skincare hosted her second annual Ladies Only Prom. Last year she held a Ladies Only prom to celebrate her business marking 10 years and it's turned into a yearly party. 

A party is really understatement. Now the idea of prom as an adult is kind of intimidating then add the factor that it's only women. 

She has created a night to be with your friends, celebrate each other for everything and nothing. You get to dress up and dance, how often does that happen as an adult? Or an adult in Salmon? Not very often.

This year's prom was was the McNutt Building, above the Goodenow Designs and Mountain Harvest. The building, what was formerly the McPherson's building was purchased by the Snook family and transformed. The building is the original Lemhi County Courthouse, so when you enter and go upstairs you are time traveling. 

The building is a true time capsule of Lemhi County history. While we love Salmon and all the history we have, Dylan from Peony Lane Decorating transformed this space into a fun pink filled prom. 

He provided a great snack stations for the dance-goers, with food and drinks, there was plenty of sitting areas to rest our feet from the heels. He always does an amazing job putting everything together.

Prom was hosted in the dance hall and danced we did. Alexis Keller, DJ. played some of the best music, led dances and is always a FUN time. She always brings the energy - ALWAYS.

So many women came fully dressed to nines or just in the jeans, that's the beauty, Tiffanie wants you to be comfortable so if you are in pants and there having fun, that's a win! She invited guests to fill out their favorites for Best Dressed, Best Dancer and Ms. Congeniality and gave good bags of Eminence Organic Skin Care products. 

It was such a blast. I have had so many women tell me they want to come but are nervous, scared or don't want to dress us. Don't dress up then, come though. IT IS FUN. You can come by yourself, you won't regret it. There were several new people at this year's prom that no one knew but came alone and danced. They were nervous and scared but made new friends and had a new experience. People even traveled from Idaho Falls to go to Sweet Cheeks' Prom!
