Audrey, East Idaho Senior
I met with Audrey for an early morning session.
I mean like sunrise early. We met at 17 Mile, near where we both live and drove to the top a small little mountain to get some really awesome views.
It was so cold and windy. That fall breeze hit us by surprise. After making Audrey suffer just a little on top of the mountain we traveled to town.
I learned a lot about Audrey during their session. They're actually already graduated, a year early - a big accomplishment. Audrey is working in town right now but is really hoping to move.
Where? Ireland.
Is this not so awesome. I really hope all aligns for them to accomplish this. They got to travel to Ireland with the school and fell in love with it. What if Ireland doesn't work? They're looking forward to moving and living in a new place with new experiences and open a coffee shop/bookstore.
Once we got to town it was warmed and Audrey was able to change into a different outfit. We got some great shots around town and had so much fun with Audrey!
Senior sessions are unique one-on-one sessions. I send a questionnaire to every senior for them to fill out.
This tells me everything from how they dress, to what they are looking for and even when they like would like to do their photos (if they happen to be a morning person). This is important to me to know what to expect, how to prep and be ready for you and your teen.
But that doesn't mean you have to come. I know some parents wants to come and some don't really want to impose. I always suggest do what your teen wants. If they think they will be to awkward in front of YOU, and ask you not to come, that' okay. If they want you to come and encourage it, COME.
The #1 thing to is that your teen is comfortable and confident. That is the goal. I want them to comfortable in front of the camera and feel confident in their outfits and surroundings.
