I love seeing Brandon and Kayla every year I can! They have the sweetest family and are so much fun to photograph and their kids are growing up so fast. I still can't get over how tall Jocelyn is.
We had a great family session and it's so important to try and get photos done as much as possible. It is feasible every single year, maybe not, but these so incredibly important for the entire family.
This year Kayla had her parents and sister which made it even more special. These photos with your adults children and their children are keepsakes.
I got some fun animals to put on my camera to help get kids to looks at the lens and I think they were a HIT. I guess they are for adults too, who don't want to look *cough * cough - dads.
Since we have done several family session before Brandon does great every time and never complains and is very attentive to the kids. Kayla agreed to a morning session despite all the long hair she had to do.
They stuck with a black and white outfit theme and I think it looks great.
This year they added Kayla’s family to the mix so we got some great photos with everyone. Family photos are so important but they aren’t just for families with small children. Family sessions are for everyone, grandparents, aunts, cousins, all included.
Family photos are more than just pictures; they’re memories captured in time. Including grandparents in your family photos is a beautiful way to celebrate the bond between generations. These images are a reminder of the love, wisdom, and strength that grandparents bring to a family.
Grandparents hold a special place in our hearts. They are the storytellers, the keepers of family traditions, and the ones who spoil us with love and care. Having them in your family photos creates a tangible connection to your family’s history. These photos become treasures that you’ll look back on with joy, remembering not just the moment, but the legacy they leave behind.
It’s important to pause and honor the people who have helped shape who we are. Family photos with grandparents are a way to do just that. They capture the love that spans generations and create memories that your children and grandchildren will cherish for years to come.
Of course in addition to getting some incredible memories with grandparents and grandchildren we still take a little time for just you and the kids as well. This is a good balance to get everyone and everything we can.
I love getting as many as possible in the time we can all while we are having fun. Kids grow up so fast, Brandon and Kayla’s family have grown so much since the last time I saw them. It truly is crazy how time flies.
